practically continuous daily work from 7.30 A.M. to 8 P.M. He has cheerfully taken over extra duties when occasion required, and has performed all his work to my entire satisfaction. I recommend for your approval that he may be paid a bonus of £150 a month for the year 1918, and I should be obliged if you would communicate your decision by telegraph.
